A while back I wrote an article explaining how at times I enjoy radio over my iPod. I like the idea, at least with some of the stations I listen to, the unpredictability of radio. I don't know which songs or compositions the station will play.

One area of interest and one of my goals is to use the Web for social activism. As an ESL teacher, I believe that the Web is an excellent tool for teaching English as a Second Language.
We scurry into our offices in the morning, and hustle out in the evening, just as their work night-for-day begins. For thousands of downtown workers like me, our office buildings are cleaned by janitorial staff we barely glimpse.

This site provides an interesting twist on search engines. It allows you to refine a search engine to just the topics that are of interest to you. These refined search engines are called "swikis (social wikis)".
This site allows you to upload and watch a wide variety of home-grown videos. I enjoyed the music videos. There are business videos, how-tos, music, bizarre and so on.
